Admissions
Admissions are now open for the 2027–28 academic year. Discover a learning environment where children are encouraged to Play, Grow, and Lead.
What We Look For
We are now welcoming applications for our inaugural 2026–2027 academic year. Be part of the founding family of Edinwood International School where every child is invited to play, grow, and lead.
Our admissions process looks beyond academic readiness. We seek children who bring energy to a room, who are willing to try, to fall, and to try again on the field, in the classroom, and in their relationships with others. We are equally committed to welcoming families who believe that education is a shared responsibility, who value Islamic principles alongside academic excellence, and who see school not as a service but as a community.
Curiosity
A genuine desire to ask questions, explore ideas, and find wonder in learning inside the classroom and beyond it.
Sportsmanship
The willingness to compete with honour, collaborate with peers, and carry the lessons of the field into everyday life.
Resilience
The character to face difficulty with patience, learn from setbacks, and keep moving forward with effort and faith.
Family Partnership
A shared commitment between school and home — to raise children who are rooted in values and ready to lead.
Age Eligibility
To ensure students are placed in the developmentally appropriate grade level, we strictly adhere to the following age criteria. Age criteria apply as of 1 June 2027 of the academic year of entry.
| Grade | Minimum Age |
|---|---|
| Pre-KG | 3+ Years |
| Junior KG | 4+ Years |
| Senior KG | 5+ Years |
| Grade 1 | 6+ Years |
| Grade 2 onwards | Progressively +1 year |
The Admissions Process
We understand that applying to a new school can be a daunting process. We have meticulously designed a transparent, supportive, and straightforward admissions journey to ensure that Edinwood is the perfect fit for your child.
1. Application
Collect the application form from the Admission Office by paying the non-refundable application fee. Complete the form and submit it along with the required documents, including the birth certificate, photographs, transfer certificate (if applicable), previous academic reports, student Aadhaar card copy, and parent/guardian ID proof.
2. Assessment
The admission assessment is age- and grade-appropriate. Pre-KG and Junior KG applicants do not require an assessment. Senior KG applicants attend an aptitude test, while students applying for Grades 1 to 8 take an entrance exam covering Mathematics, English, Science/EVS and General Awareness.
3. Admission Decision
Admission decisions are made based on the applicable entrance assessment, previous academic record and availability of seats. Selected applicants will be informed by the school regarding the next steps.
4. Fee Payment & Enrolment
Once selected, parents or guardians must complete the admission formalities and pay the applicable fees within the stipulated period. Payment of the required fees confirms the student's seat and completes the enrolment process.
